WELCOME TO BURRO BASE CAMP
Our mission is to find trusted homes for previously wild and domestic burros. We act as a steward to the burros through training and education of the burros and the burro community. Burro Base Camp is a donkey rescue located in Kiowa, CO.
For the protection of the donkeys at our facility, ALL visits are by appointment only**

Burro Base Camp is a donkey rescue located in Kiowa, CO. We help donkeys who find themselves in less than favorable conditions or in need of owner surrender. Upon arrival, donkeys receive rehab - any needed health and hoof care - and training before finding a trusted forever home or sanctuary.
