At just 16, he began as a helper building houses in Highlands Ranch, and by 18, he was capable of building homes from the ground up on his own. He then moved into high-end remodels, focusing on basements, kitchens, baths, and additions, which laid the foundation for his expertise today at 49.

Finish carpentry became his specialty, driving his meticulous attention to detail and high standards. Over the years, his portfolio expanded to include ground-up construction of new homes and modular builds. Rich also brings a strong background in structural steel, timber, and concrete. Rich also owned Colorado Commercial Solutions, a retail construction company that built many of the retail stores you see today in Park Meadows, Cherry Creek Mall, Flatiron Mall, and other locations. While this work brought great success, Rich's passion has come full circle back to residential construction.

Today, he focuses on projects in Elbert County, Parker, and Castle Rock, where he can be more hands-on with clients and closer to home for his wife and children. He’s also fortunate to work alongside his wife, Marjorie Engle, a prominent real estate agent who serves the community in many ways beyond real estate. Together, they are committed to improving and enriching their community.
