Join us for an informative presentation from the Colorado Attorney General’s Office focused on consumer protection, fraud prevention, and the resources available to help protect Colorado residents.
This session will provide an overview of the role and function of the Attorney General’s Office, current initiatives, and the programs in place to support and protect our communities.
A key focus of the presentation will be Stop Fraud Colorado, an initiative designed to educate Coloradans on how to identify scams, prevent fraud, and report consumer protection concerns.

Oscar Hernandez-Soria
Oscar serves as the bilingual Community Engagement Specialist for the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. In this role, he develops outreach programs to engage Spanish-speaking and historically underserved communities across Colorado. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, Oscar worked in the nonprofit sector as a community organizer after graduating from Colorado State University.
Ruben Fragoso
Ruben is a bilingual Criminal Investigator with the Consumer Protection Unit at the Colorado Department of Law. His work focuses on investigating consumer fraud, financial fraud, and deceptive business practices. Ruben brings prior law enforcement experience, holds a Doctorate in Human Services with a specialization in Criminal Justice, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE).
